Tallulah 2012

3 Apr

I’m currently in Scotland. It’s snowing (lightly but yes, SNOW?!).

So, what better way to pretend that I am embracing my lack of vitamin D than poring over Australian designer collections?

Aussie fashion is something I am currently into in a big way. I’ve never liked the cold, despite having put up with many sub zero winters, and when Australian winter collections even offer bare arms and legs, I’m all for it.

I cannot wait to arrive there at the end of this year.

Anyone else in love with the high-low racer front top?

Get in my Suitcase! Mara Hoffman Printed Bustier Bikini

1 Apr

You know those girls who can never have too many pairs of shoes? I feel the same way about swimwear (shoes too, boots rather but that’s for another time). I’m the girl who buys the bikini on sale in November when it’s snowing outside because I will wear it come the summer or the next holiday. It goes straight into it’s new home aptly named ‘The Swimwear Drawer’ with it’s 10 new and unworn friends and countless ‘golden oldies’, hoping that the darkness will one day cease and it will find itself worn in a warm, salty ocean and not in my local swimming pool in Scotland.

Now, Mara Hoffman – bikini of dreams, how I wish I could afford you. You would be perfect for rooftop pool lounging on the sunnier side of the Atlantic. Perhaps we will meet in November…

The Travelling Stylista

31 Mar

I am beginning this blog as a Marketing student in Scotland. As part of my final degree year, I have to submit a blog. To be perfectly honest, it’s been just the kick I need in order to start blogging. I have been meaning to do for some time but I didn’t know how to start.

I wish for The Travelling Stylista to serve as an interesting diary of sorts when I travel and search for work within the Fashion Industry towards the end of summer. Meshing this with style, fashion, travel advice etc, I hope that it will inspire those who, like me, live for fashion and travel equally; who love or wish to see what the world has to offer.
